UK Lunacy

Get this. A gang of thirteen 15-year-olds attack a 13-year-old and

  • tie him to a tree
  • bind his legs together with a school tie
  • put a monkey mask over his face
  • gag him
  • set fire to him
  • and film a 20-minute “happy slapping” attack on their mobile phones.

All thirteen attackers are arrested and three confess. What happens?

A CPS spokeswoman said: “We decided not to prosecute because the victim was unable to identify any of the suspects when he was shown photographs.

“Seven of the suspects made no admission and accordingly there was no evidence against any of those individuals.

“Three of the boys did admit the attack on Kyle, but because of their previous good character we thought it was unfair to single them out and pursue the prosecution.

“The other three made certain admissions but, as with the others, we decided prosecution was not justified.”

To be fair, the victim escaped and chased one kid down and had a fight with him, so if the kid couldn’t identify that guy then something here is kinda fishy. Still, the public statement made by CPS is sheer lunacy.

The mother is understandably outraged.

  1. This is Blair’s Britain for you!

  2. Couldn’t the attackers be identified by the three people who confessed? Couldn’t they threaten to throw the book at the three unless they testify against the other ten?
    This is LAZY and evil.
