While it is true that the portion of taxes paid by the wealthiest 20% rises, keep in mind that is only true due to the fact that their income has risen much more quickly than the other people.
So?
I mean, really — where is it written that income should rise at the same rate for everyone?
Your statement has no foundation, it doesn’t point to a moral or sociological problem. So what if rich people got richer? Good for them!
Are there more poor people than before? If so, why? If not, what’s the problem?
