Proof Bloggers are Wrong
The Captain’s Quarters is carefully following developments in what is being billed as Kerry’s Next Cambodia Story.
In 2001 John Kerry claimed to have been at the signing of the agreement that signaled the end of the first Gulf War. The Captain’s Quarters contends and is attempting to prove that this is about as true as Kerry’s previous claim that he spent Christmas in Cambodia on a super-secret CIA mission while on a big, noisy boat listening to a speech by a president that couldn’t yet be president (and he’s got a hat to prove it!).
The blogosphere breathlessly waits to see if bloggers can have the same impact as they did in Rathergate.
However, thanks to my close ties to the Kerry Campaign and the inner workings of CBS, I can tell you that this picture will appear on 60 Minutes next week which will shut down this pernicious smear on the part of right-wing pajama-clad fanatics:
