No More Delta for Me

OK, so I rarely fly anyway. They look at me funny when I have a holster on my belt even though there’s no gun. Still, Marine Corps Moms posts a letter to the editor that you should definitely read, especially if you fly and most especially if you fly Delta.

Hat tip to Donald Sensing.

  1. I’m sorry, but I have to side with Delta on this one. The airline is already being more than fair by allowing soldiers to fly free in unused seats. It’s not fair to expect them to turn away paying customers and give away their business for free. The responsibility of getting soldiers home ought to be the military’s, not Delta’s.
And as for the “Marine Mom” and the “numerous volunteers,” did any of them offer to pony up the money to buy the soldier a ticket home? Or does their support merely extend to demanding other donate?
It’s really easy to be generous with other people’s money.
