Must Reads

From the Christian Science Monitor, In Iraq’s south, democracy buds

From USA Today, Bush decision on Iraq recalls child’s tale of ‘The Little Red Hen’

Ann Coulter pens a particularly good article that I was going to devote an entire post to, but it’s too full of great quotes to even attempt an extract. Even if you don’t usually read Ann, you absolutely must read Vegan Computer Geeks for Dean.

And finally, an absolutely hilarious piece from top to bottom, Parties do a switcheroo:

Ever-searching for an edge in the coming presidential campaign, the Democrats have taken a sticky page out of the Abercrombie & Fitch catalog and issued a calendar for 2004 featuring scantily-clad Democrat women. Egad, where are the feminists on this?

I hate to say this, but I have seen a few pages of this calendar and I must say I am disappointed. Is this the best team the Ds can field? Are these the best-looking babes the left could produce?

Update: A Little More to the Right beat USA Today to the Little Red Hen story by four days.

I think Ann Coulter has done the impossible and mastered the art of composing articles that consist of nothing but fallacies, mostly ad hominem. Pretty impressive.

Not nearly as impressive as Michael Moore’s capturing of an Oscar for Best Documentary with a submission that was one notch less factual than The Blair Witch Project.
