Memphis Blogger Bash

Posted June 9th, 2006 by AlphaPatriot and filed in Uncategorized

I was only able to stay a couple of hours, but I had a great time. See the few pics I snapped at my Flickr site.

Most of it was spent arguing with Tgrisch from Lean Left, but that was extremely entertaining. Frankly, I was outclassed, but then again, Tgrisch was just so wrong that it didn’t matter! [Actually, we agreed on a number of items, but quickly moved on to points of contention so we could get back to arguing.]

And it was great seeing Mike and Mark and John, not to mention a whole host of leftys. I got the names of some of the attendees, but not all:

And candidate Novella Smith Arnold happened to be there (that’s her on the left of LeftWingCracker in the pic) and spent quite a while talking to the moonbats at one end of the table. Hopefully she was able to begin the conversion process on a couple of ‘em!

Many thanks to Mike Hollihan for setting this up — I find more places to go in midtown this way.

  1. We had two candidates at the bash, plugging themselves: Novella and John Harvey. That’s pretty cool. (One was a blogger’s wife and the other is a blogger himself.)
The power of the Memphis blogosphere continues to crawl forward! :-)

When a guy who can’t even spell my name right accuses me of being “wrong about everything,” I’ll take that as a compliment! :)
Seriously, I had a good time, and wish we had more time to debate.

My most extreme apologies! I have corrected the spelling in the post. Plus, I finally figured out who “Freedonian” so I put that (with a link) into the post as well.
Again, I had a great time and can’t wait to do it again.

Nice try, but you’ve still got it wrong. :) Maybe the third time will be the charm!
