Kerry’s Utopian Promises
Some Americans undoubtedly think John Kerry has all the answers regarding their health care needs and financial security in later life. After all, he’s promising to cut major medical premiums, slash the cost of prescription drugs, give everybody “quality care” and cut waste. He’s also vowing to never privatize Social Security and to never cut benefits.“All aboard! The Free Ride Express to Utopia is leaving the station!” Mr. Kerry might as well say. Strike up the band! “Happy days are here again … da-da-da-da-da-da-ta-da, happy days are here again!”
