I'd like to see a Lincoln-Douglas format debat (i.e. Candidate1 gets 20 minutes to speak, Candidate2 gets 30 minute response, Candidate1 gets 10 minute rebuttal, end of debate) rather than the soundbite fests that pass as debates right now.
The current format is completely useless since the answers are so short they can get away with vague generalities (if elected, I'll make everyone's teeth 30% brighter) without having to go into any details that would allow someone to evaluate their proposals.

Naw -- I don't know when Kerry jumped the shark but I'm pretty sure it was quite some time ago.

Seems to me the losing side always demands more debates. Is this the beginning of the end for Kerry?
