Hysterical Quote
Former front-runner Howard Dean sat out this week’s primaries, but still managed to make news by ridiculing the FCC’s plan to investigate MTV’s halftime show at the Super Bowl. Dean pronounced the proposed investigation “silly.” He explained that, as a doctor, a naked breast is “not exactly an unusual phenomenon for me.”
That’s an interesting standard. Presumably a primetime exhibition of Janet Jackson having a full pelvic exam and pap smear would not be “exactly an unusual phenomenon” for Dean either. Let’s just be grateful Dean’s not a proctologist.

So does this mean that you think that a full FCC inquiry is needed as all 5 FCC commissioners have said (by each individually releasing a press release of their own) or do you think the matter should just die as Dean has suggested?
As far as I can tell, he thinks Ann is a hysterical chick, whose quotes are made for the blogosphere. Well, at least that’s MY $0.02.
Yes, Dave, you are correct. Ann is often hysterical and usually on the mark, making excellent blogosphere fodder. She beats Moore and Garofalo combined, which is good — the left has many poison-tounged rhetoric spinners and the right has been silent too long.
