Fred Thompson’s Impending Announcement
Signs show that Thompson’s announcement is close. Carl Bearden noticed that ABC Radio Networks describes Fred as a “former ABC News Radio contributor.” Also that the Thompson campaign has signed a long-term lease on a building in Nashville.
It looks like Tennessee Republican Party Chairman Bob Davis’ resignation was so he could join Thompson’s campaign.
There is much speculation that the reason that the GOP fundraising is lagging is because people are waiting for Fred to jump in (I am!).
