Fabulous Holiday Weekend
Besides the good food and being with family again, this was quite a good Thanksgiving
On Thursday, the Cowboys rode the Romomentum wave to smash the Bucs 38-10 as Romo tied a team record with 5 TD passes.
After ten days off, the ‘boys will get a chance to revenge their previous loss to the Giants and play for for first place in the NFC East.
According to the internet tracking service Hitwise, the Cowboys is still America’s team: of all visits to NFL web sites in the last 12 weeks, the ‘boys got 20.4 percent of them. Da Bears came in second, receiving a paltry 7 percent.
On Friday, the Fightin’ Texas Aggies stunned Texas Longhorns Teasips, beating them 12-7 in Austin. The Aggies ran for 244 yards against the nation’s top run defense and secured 3 interceptions.
And if you like round ball, the 11th ranked Aggies dominated Idaho State in a 74-44 victory.
I was present for a milestone event, as Advised by Wolves’ Saturn station wagon’s odometer turned 300K:

And today, a cat named Ziggy Stardust made history:
Ziggy the cat used up at least one of his nine lives after surviving for 17 days without food on a 2,300 mile voyage that took him from northern Israel to England.
The skinny white cat named after Ziggy Stardust — the character created by David Bowie in the 1970s, because like the rock star he has one green and one blue eye — made his epic trip as a stowaway in a 40-foot container.
All in all, a very good holiday weekend indeed.
