Fact: No man-made law has ever stopped anything from happening.
Fact: The only reason laws are enacted, is so that some politician can say s/he ‘did something.’
Fact: Laws – in the largest sense – serve no purpose except to circumscribe certain activities. In almost all cases, those activities harm no one, save the one who engages in those activities.
Fact: The very best law – which isn’t actually a law – is the one which states, that if you harm another person’s life, liberty, and/or property, you shall be held to account.
Fact: The only real purpose for almost all law, is to ignore enforcing it until it is convenient, and then employ it against those you happen to not like, or when it is expedient. Tyrants love lots of law, for it allows them to equivocate at length.
Those who make hateful law, are filled with hate.
Those filled with hate are miserable people.
Misery loves company.

I think it is about time we give young adults their due, pass a law that states “If you are old enough to vote for your President, you are old enough to own a handgun.”
Let the lefties scream about that one for awhile.
I can bet the possibility of that law being passed would garner alot of young people to vote in the next election.
I believe that the Dems screaming “they are not mature enough!” would make alot of young adults
think “Hey, wait a second. I’m mature enough to vote for Democrat, but not mature enough to own a handgun?”…It would make them think more clearly about politics and their 2ND Amendment rights.

Paragraph 3 of section 922(x) creates an exception is the person has the prior written consent of a parent of guardian. Since emancipated 18-21 year olds are their own guardians, couldn’t they just circumvent the law by writing a letter that says, “I hereby grant my consent for me to possess a hangun”?
