I'm amused (but not particularly surprised) you managed to fail to mention the UK's falling violent crime and overall crime rates. Yeah, I know, only a minor detail... (do you know the average rape conviction rate in the US? I'd be amazed if it were any higher, given the nature of the crime. And 'or caution' is an artefact of the way the police report clearups, not a sign that people are actually cautioned for rape.) Heh.
