Charming French Customs

Each year, celebrating French citizens bring in the new year by torching automobiles. This year, 324 cars were set alight across the nation — 128 in Paris alone.


The good news is that this is about 50 fewer than last year.


Also, 53 police were injured in dealing with mob violence.
