On Easter day, as you’re driving to church, call out to your slobovian, atheistic, liberal neighbor sitting on his porch:

“Happy Easter! Our Savior liveth! Sorry yours won’t get reelected!”

Now that’s funny.

Another leftist Politian, Senator George McGovern, flew a B-24 Liberator in Europe. He made an emergency landing with a damaged plane on a small airstrip that ended with a cliff. He landed safely and saved his crew.

Now we have Al Gore who wrote for the Army’s engineer magazine “Essayons” and made a short trip to Viet Nam where he had a body gurard to keep the boy safe.

At least he was in uniform.

Makes me think there is something to Starship Troopers.

“I do think this is a really big debate, and I think the White House was out of bounds . . . in trying to schedule a speech during a debate,” Carville said.

Given a “choice between watching a debate and the speech, I would have watched the debate and I’m not even a Republican or even close to being a Republican,” he said.

By matching genetic information with maps of the subjects’ social networks, the researchers were able to show that people with a specific variant of the DRD4 gene were more likely to be liberal as adults, but only if they had an active social life in adolescence.

Dopamine is a neurotransmitter affecting brain processes that control movement, emotional response, and ability to experience pleasure and pain. Previous research has identified a connection between a variant of this gene and novelty-seeking behavior, and this behavior has previously been associated with personality traits related to political liberalism.

Note that an earlier study found that variation of the DRD4 gene correlated with alcoholism, sex addiction and gambling, not to mention attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Further, polymorphism in the gene sequencing of DRD4 is associated with reduced ability to experience disgust as well as a number of other mental disorders:

The DRD4 polymorphism has been studied in association with illnesses like schizophrenia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive with tics, bipolar manic-depressive disorder, in addition behavioral traits such as novelty seeking. The DRD4 gene is a genetic marker that could play a role in etiology of different mental illness, and behavioral traits, and its polymorphism can be used in association studies, epigenetic and pharmacogenomic analysis for help to understand the genetics basis of both mental disorders and traits.

You can’t argue with science.

Menendez is fighting back in typical liberal fashion: he is litigating to keep his job:

While New Jersey’s constitution explicitly allows the recall of federal officials, Menendez, is arguing that such a move violates that U.S. Constitution, which doesn’t address recalls.

“Mainstream New Jerseyans believe deeply in the U.S. Constitution that for more than 200 years has made ours the greatest form of government in world history,” a spokesman for Menendez said in a statement. “This attack on the Constitution undermines our uniquely American system of democracy and will be contested.”

This is the thinnest of all possible tactics which is bound to fail in the courts and will do nothing except fan the flames of the recall movement. This is the act of a desperate man.

Buy-bye Menendez.

Perhaps bankruptcy procedures mandate selling off private information in order to pay the creditors; the auction house has the emails listed under “intellectual property.” Most private individuals would disagree, but information like this is bought and sold all the time.

If nothing else, this should serve as a cautionary tale to everyone who gives out their information to any organization. Personally, I take great pleasure in giving out misinformation (e.g., something close to, but not quite, my real name with completely incorrect demographic information). I recently received a donation appeal (complete with an already-completed membership card) to the NAACP, as well as a complementary subscription to a magazine marketed to young African-American women. Yep, filled out one little online survey and suddenly I’m a young black woman on marketing lists across the nation.

Now that’s funny, I don’t care who y’are.
