Blackburn Pro-Growth Score

Posted March 24th, 2007 by AlphaPatriot and filed in Alexander, Lamar, Blackburn, Marsha, Club for Growth, Frist, Bill

Marsha Blackburn (my congressman) ranks 11th in the House of Representatives for pro-economic growth voting according to the 2006 Congressional Scorecard from the Club for Growth, receiving an 88.

Not bad to be 11th out of 429 representatives!

For comparison, my senators Frist and Alexander ranked 32nd (73) and 26th (78) respectively.

  1. Jeb says:

Wasn’t Club for Growth involved in the Jack Abramoff/Ralph Reed/Indian Casino money laundering scam?
Why would anyone boast that they got a high score from those crooks?

And where in the heck did you get that bit of misinformation and why are you spreading it on my blog? Would you like to offer a single link to a credible source that even theorizes about such a connection? Why would a lobbying organization have money ties to a lobbiest for another cause?
I performed a search on both Google and Yahoo and came up empty. In fact, I can’t even find a tie between Abramoff and any of the ex-politicians that support the Club for Growth.
Please don’t leave unsubstantiated accusations in my comments.
